Street Furniture Buying Guide
Everything you need to choose, specify and install the right timber street furniture — fixing options, timber types, technical support, FAQs and more.
Fixing Options
Pedestal fixing
Furniture sits on top of the ground and is bolted down for safety and security. Fixing kits and bolts can be supplied as an optional extra — please ask for details.
Ground fixing (root fixing)
Furniture is made to taller dimensions to allow it to be sunk into the ground and secured with concrete. For example, the Coxes range features longer legs specifically for this "planting" method.
Timber
We supply all our timber street furniture in carefully selected hardwood or softwood. If budget allows, hardwood is the more durable choice and requires treating less often. Softwood requires an annual treatment with Sadolin wood stain and typically has a shorter service life.
